5G Spectrum Auction will start from July 26 :
The auction of 5G spectrum will start from July 26 for the introduction of next generation telecom services in the country. A total of 72 GHz spectrum will be auctioned in this. The government is expected to get around Rs 4.3 lakh crore from this auction. A total of four companies are participating in this auction, including Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel, Vodafone Idea and Adani Data Networks Limited of the Adani Group. The government claims that 5G service can start in the country by the end of August.
First service will start in these cities :
5G service in the India will first start in Delhi, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Gurugram, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Jamnagar, Gandhinagar, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru and Chennai.

These bands will be available for auction 600MHz, 700MHz, 800MHz, 900MHz1, 800MHz2 ,100MHz2, 300MHz3, 30MHz, 26GHz, 3.4GHz .

* 5G service may start within 03 to six months after the purchase of spectrum

* 04 thousand devices can be connected to 4G network within a radius of one kilometer
What is the average download speed of 5G ?
According to the report published in NDTV Profit, in terms of download speed, this period was 2.8 days for 2G. For 3G, it reduced to 2 hours. It will be 40 minutes for 4G and 35 seconds for 5G.
