Yamaha FZ X Price

The Yamaha FZ-X is on sale in India in a single variant with five colour options: Matte Copper, Dark Matte Blue, Matte Titan, Metallic Black and Chrome. The Matte Copper and the Metallic Black options are priced at Rs 1,36,200. Meanwhile, the Dark Matte Blue and Matte Titan colour options are priced at Rs 1,37,200 and the Chrome option is priced at Rs 1,39,700 (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi).

Yamaha FZ X Engine

The Yamaha FZ-X shares its BS6.2-compliant 149cc, air-cooled, SOHC single-cylinder engine with the Yamaha FZ-S range. Paired with a 5-speed gearbox, this tried-and-tested engine produces 12.4PS at7250rpm and 13.3Nm at5500rpm.

Yamaha FZ X Suspension & Brakes

The Yamaha FZ-X gets a 41mm telescopic fork and a 7-step preload-adjustable monoshock suspension setup. The motorcycle comes equipped with a 100/80-17 front tyre and a 140/60-R17 rear tyre. Braking duties are handled by a 282mm front disc and a 220mm rear disc.With a ground clearance of 165mm, the Yamaha FZ-X has a 10-litre fuel tank with a seat height of 810mm.

Like most sporty commuters in the 150-160cc motorcycle category, the Yamaha FZ-X also has single-channel ABS, an LED tail lamp and a full-LCD instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity. However, it is one of the few affordable motorcycles to feature an LED projector headlight in its category, while also coming with LED turn indicators and traction control.
