About Triumph Tiger 900:
The 2024 Triumph Tiger 900 range has two models: Tiger 900 GT, which is the more road-focused ADV and the Tiger 900 Rally Pro, which is the more off-road focused ADV of the two. Both are powered by an 888cc liquid-cooled 12-valve DOHC inline 3-cylinder engine.
Triumph Tiger 900 Price:
The Triumph Tiger 900 GT and Tiger 900 Rally Pro are priced at Rs 13,95,000 and Rs 15,95,000 (ex-showroom) respectively. The 900 GT gets three colour options: Graphite/Sapphire Black, Snowdonia White/Sapphire Black and Carnival Red/Sapphire Black. The colour options available for the Rally Pro are: Carbon Black/Sapphire Black, Ash Grey/Intense Orange and Matt Khaki Green/Matt Phantom Black.
Triumph Tiger 900 Features:
Both the ADVs get a 7-inch TFT instrument console and it comes with Bluetooth connectivity, music control and turn-by-turn navigation as standard. Four riding modes are available in the 900 GT: Road, Rain, Sport and Off-Road while two additional riding modes: Rider Configurable and Off-Road Pro are available in the 900 Rally Pro. A tyre pressure monitoring system, and heated seats and grips are available as standard on the Rally Pro.
Triumph Tiger 900 Engine:
Powering the Triumph Tiger 900 range is an 888cc liquid-cooled 12-valve DOHC inline 3-cylinder engine producing 108PS at 9500rpm and 90Nm at 6850rpm. Both bikes come mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch. The Rally Pro gets the quickshifter as standard.
Triumph Tiger 900 Suspension, Brakes & Other Details:
The Tiger 900 GT gets a suspension setup consisting of a Marzocchi 45mm upside down fork with 180mm wheel travel and a Marzocchi monoshock with 170mm wheel travel (both adjustable for rebound and compression). The Rally Pro gets a Showa 45mm upside down fork with 240mm wheel travel and a Showa monoshock with 230mm wheel travel (both adjustable for rebound and compression). Braking duties on both ADvs are handled by dual 320mm front discs with Brembo Stylema 4-piston Monobloc callipers and a 255mm rear disc with a single-piston sliding calliper. Cornering ABS and traction control are available as standard on both models.
Triumph Tiger 900 Rivals:
The Triumph Tiger 900 GT rivals the Ducati Multistrada V2. The Tiger 900 Rally Pro’s rivals are the Ducati Desert X and BMW F 850 GS Adventure.
