Schools running relief camps in Kozhikode will have a holiday tomorrow.

A holiday has been announced for four schools tomorrow.

Kozhikode: Due to heavy rains, the district collector has announced a holiday for schools running relief camps in Kozhikode district tomorrow. Holidays have been announced for Chevayur NGO Quarters High School, Kozhikode IHRD Technical Higher Secondary School, Kotuli GLP School and Muttoli Lolail Anganwadi.

District Collector has declared holiday for all educational institutes in Wayanad district. District Collector D.R. Meghasree has informed that tomorrow (July 18) will be a holiday for educational institutions including tuition centers, Anganwadis and professional colleges due to severe monsoon in the district.

Holiday is not applicable to Model Residential Schools. The District Collector informed that the holiday is not applicable for pre-scheduled exams and PSC exams. There is a red alert warning in Wayanad today. Heavy rain is expected to continue tomorrow. At present, only Wayanad state has announced a holiday for educational institutions tomorrow.
