Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Engine:
Royal Enfield has developed the all-new Sherpa 450 engine for this new Himalayan – a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 452cc engine. This is Royal Enfield’s first-ever liquid-cooled motor. Paired with a 6-speed gearbox, this new-generation engine of the Himalayan develops 40.02PS at 8000rpm and 40 Nm at 5500rpm.

The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 has completely new mechanicals compared to the previous-generation Himalayan 411. The Himalayan 450 boasts a new suspension setup, comprising a 43mm upside-down telescopic fork with 200mm travel at the front and a linked mono-shock with 200mm wheel travel at the rear. The motorcycle retains its 90/90-21 tube-type front tyre from the Himalayan 411, while at the rear, there is a new, wider 140/80 R17 tube-type radial tyre. Offered with a dual-channel ABS as standard equipment, the new Royal Enfield Himalayan 450’s braking setup includes a 320mm front disc and a 270mm rear disc.
