Mulayam Singh Yadav, the founder of Samajwadi Party and three-time Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, is no more. Netaji was admitted to Medanta Hospital on October 2 due to urinary infection, blood pressure problem and shortness of breath. Since then his condition remained critical. Many of his organs had stopped working. Netaji breathed his last at 8:16 am on Monday after battling between life and death in Medanta’s ICU and Critical Care Unit (CCU) for nine days. He died on Monday morning at the age of 82.

The death of Netaji was confirmed on the official Twitter handle of Samajwadi Party on behalf of Akhilesh Yadav, son of Mulayam Singh Yadav and former Chief Minister of UP. It is written in the tweet- ‘My respected father is no more – Akhilesh Yadav.’ As soon as the information about the death of Mulayam Singh Yadav was received, a crowd of his supporters, close family members and political leaders-activists started gathering at Medanta Hospital. In view of the large number of people coming, the security at the hospital has been increased.

For the past several days, concerns were being raised across the country regarding Mulayam Singh’s health. All the political personalities of the country including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and CM Yogi Adityanath were constantly taking care of his health. Mulayam Singh Yadav’s personality attracted people from every party and ideology across party boundaries. This is the reason that after his death on Monday, there is a wave of mourning not only in the Samajwadi Party but in every party and organization. Ever since Mulayam was admitted to Medanta Hospital, people from all over the country were reaching to see him.

समाजवादी पार्टी के संस्‍थापक और तीन बार उत्‍तर प्रदेश के मुख्‍यमंत्री रहे मुलायम सिंह यादव नहीं रहे। नेताजी को यूरिन संक्रमण, ब्‍लड प्रेशर की दिक्‍कत और सांस लेने में तकलीफ की वजह से 2 अक्‍टूबर 2022 को मेदांता अस्‍पताल में भर्ती कराया गया था। तभी से उनकी हालत नाजुक बनी हुई थी। उनके कई अंगों ने काम करना बंद कर दिया था। 9 वे दिन तक मेदांता के आईसीयू और क्रिटिकल केयर यूनिट (सीसीयू) में जिंदगी और मौत के बीच जूझते रहने के बाद नेताजी ने 10 अक्टूबर 2022 सोमवार को सुबह 8:16 बजे अंतिम सांस ली। 82 साल की उम्र में सोमवार के सुबह को उनका निधन हो गया।
