No film can be seen just for the good acting of the actor. It’s been 28 years since Forrest Gump was made in Hollywood. The stories of the world have changed a lot. But the makers of Bollywood feel that there was no mental development of the Indian audience. The mother of Lal Singh Chaddha (Aamir Khan) takes him back in the tales of his maternal grandparents to the First World War (1914–18). Whereas Lal’s life now comes till Modi Sarkar (2014). There is no point in trying to show the era of almost hundred years in the film. In fact, this entire century has not been seen anywhere on screen in depth. The Story of Lal Singh Chaddha
The story of the film is that Lal Singh Chaddha is a child, who lives in a small town in Punjab. He understands things very slowly. As a child, he falls in love with Roopa D’Souza in school and asks if she will marry him. But Roopa of a broken family has to earn a lot of money in life. Going to Mumbai to become a heroine. Lal runs very fast and joins the army like his maternal grandfather. By participating in the Kargil war, he saves the lives of five of his soldiers. He gets the gallantry award at the hands of the President. He retires from there and returns home. Now he is waiting for Roopa.
