FD Rate

Axis Bank offers FD interest rates of 3.00-7.20% p.a. to the general public and 3.50-7.75% p.a. to senior citizens on tenures ranging from 7 days to 10 years. The bank also offers Tax Saving FD at 7.00% p.a. to the general public and 7.75% p.a. to senior citizen depositors for tenures of 5 years. The bank also offers various fixed deposit products for NRIs, such as NRO, NRE, RFC and FCNR fixed deposits. Axis Bank accepts FCNR fixed deposits in US Dollars , British Pound Sterling , Euro, Australian Dollar Canadian Dollar and Japanese Yen. The bank accepts RFC fixed deposits in USD, GBP, Euro, AUD, and CAD.

Axis Bank Fixed Deposit

Digital Fixed Deposit

  1. This is a digital full KYC fixed deposit product, which can be funded from any savings bank account.
  2. Deposit Amount: Rs 5,000 to Rs 2 lakh.
  3. Tenor: 6 months to 10 years.
  4. Zero issuance fees.
  5. No penalty on premature FD withdrawal of up to 25% of the FD amount.

Express Fixed Deposit

  1. This is a digital fixed deposit product, which can be funded within 3 minutes from any savings bank account.
  2. it’s Deposit Amount: Rs 5,000 to Rs 90,000.
  3. Tenor: 6 months to 12 months (364 days).
  4. Zero issuance fees.
  5. Withdraw up to 25% of your FD amount without any penalty of charges.
  6. This is Available only for single account holders.

Tax Saver Fixed Deposit

  1. This is fixed deposit scheme comes with tax benefits under Sec. 80C of Income Tax Act.
  2. Deposit Amount: Rs 100 to Rs 1.5 lakh.
  3. It has a lock-in period of up to 5 years.
  4. Deposit Types: Reinvestment Deposit, Quarterly Interest Payout or Monthly Interest Payout.
  5. Zero issuance fees.
  6. Withdraw up to 25% of your FD amount without any penalty of charges.
  7. Available only for single account holders.

Fixed Deposit Plus

  1. Minimum Deposit Amount: Rs 5 Crore.
  2. Maximum Deposit Amount: No limit.
  3. Tenor: 7 days to 10 years.
  4. Preferred Method of Interest Calculation: Simple interest and Compound Interest.
  5. Deposit Types: Short-term Deposit, Reinvestment Deposit, Monthly Interest Payout or Quarterly Interest Payout.
  6. Auto-renewal facility not available.
  7. Available for both NRI and NRO customers as well.
