India-2 is coming soon. Indian-2 is a 2024 Tamil language Action movie. Directed by S. Shankar and Produced by Subaskaran Allirajah and Udayanidhi Stalin.
Kamal Hasan, Siddharth, Rakul preet Singh and S. J Surjah are in lead role.
This Movie was announced in Sept. 2017. Sri Venkateswara Creation was initially on bord, but opted out a month later. Principal photography commenced in jan.2019 and occurred sporadically over 5 years.
In 2020, an accident that killed some crew members in COVID-19 pandemic delayed for making movie for two yeas until Red Gaint Movies entered as co-producers.
The movie is imagined with the idea of how Indian thatha (Grandfather in Tamil) would survive in today’s time. The socially- charged movie talks about corruption, unemployment and many issues plaguing the country. The plot reportedly involves Senapathy returning to support Sidharth, a young man who exposes corrupt politicians through online videos.
This Movie will be released on 12 July 2024.
