चरण 1: रजिस्ट्रेट यूजर आईडी & पासवर्ड से लोगिन करें।

चरण 2: साइड बार मेनू में होम स्क्रीन पर सेवाओं के लिए आवेदन करें ढूंढें।

चरण 3: लागू फॉर्म चुनें (OBC, SC, ST)

चरण 4: फ़ॉर्म को सभी अनिवार्य फ़ील्ड भरें।

चरण 5: शर्तें स्वीकार करें & शर्तें और कैप्चा कोड दर्ज करें और सबमिट पर क्लिक करें।

चरण 6:  सभी दस्तावेज़ अपलोड करें।

चरण 7: अंतिम सबमिट पर क्लिक करें।

चरण 8: आवेदन जमा करने के बाद पावती प्रिंट करें या पावती रसीद डाउनलोड करें।

स्टीp 9: यह आपकी ओर से अंतिम चरण है, सत्यापन के तहत आपका आवेदन पूरा हो गया है और 30 दिनों में अपना जाति प्रमाण पत्र जारी करें।

ध्यान दें: गलत जानकारी देने पर आवेदन खारिज/लंबित हो जाएगा।

आवश्यक दस्तावेज़

जाति प्रमाण पत्र के लिए आवेदन करने के लिए, आवेदन पत्र के साथ निम्नलिखित दस्तावेज जमा करें:

• आवेदक की स्व-घोषणा / एक हलफनामा जिसमें सभी विवरण और दस्तावेज का उल्लेख सही है।
• खटियान की फोटोकॉपी
• आवासीय प्रमाण पत्र
• रिपोर्ट आवेदक की जाति से संबंधित संबंधित पटवारी या तहसीलदार का >भूमि संबंधी प्रमाण पत्र जिसमें जाति का उल्लेख किया गया है (ओबीसी के लिए अनिवार्य)
• आय प्रमाणपत्र (ओबीसी के लिए अनिवार्य)
• जाति प्रमाण पत्र (बीसी1/बीसी2) (ओबीसी के लिए अनिवार्य) )
• आवेदक का फोटो
• निर्वाचित सदस्य का अनुशंसा पत्र(वार्ड/मुखिया/प्रधान/जिला परिषद जाति सत्यापित करने के लिए.

तत्काल सेवा: तत्काल सेवा के लिए आवेदक को संलग्नक के रूप में तत्काल का कारण बताते हुए प्रमाण अपलोड करना होगा। तत्काल की पात्रता के लिए स्थानीय अंचल अधिकारी/प्रखंड विकास अधिकारी/कार्यकारी मजिस्ट्रेट/उप मंडल मजिस्ट्रेट/अपर कलेक्टर/उपायुक्त द्वारा इसकी अनुशंसा की जानी चाहिए।

Purpose of the Certificate

Any individual reserved under the SC, ST, and OBC category can apply for a caste certificate to get the benefit of reservation, relaxation facility provided by the State Government. A person should obtain the caste certificate for various purposes. Some of the purposes are mentioned below.

• Caste certificate is important in availing seats under reserved quotas in certain educational institutions and Government entities.
• Students require a caste certificate for fee concessions in schools/colleges.
• To benefit from scholarships provided by the Government.
• In terms of employment, caste certificate is obligatory for job seekers, who apply for Government jobs as appointments under reserved quotas.
• Government requires a caste certificate to disburse subsidies for special reservations.
• Caste Certificate must be provided to reserve seats in the Legislatures.
• To apply for schemes implemented by the Government exclusively for the underprivileged, caste certificate is necessary.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for a person to obtain caste certificate from Jharkhand are below.

• The applicant should be a citizen of India.
•  Applicant should have permanent residence in the state for a minimum period of five years to obtain a caste certificate in Jharkhand.
• The name of the applicant should be in the SC/ST, SEBC and OBC list issued by the Government of Jharkhand to apply for caste certificate.

Documents Required

To apply for caste certificate, submit the following documents along with the application form:

• Self-declaration of Applicant / an affidavit that mentions all details and document are correct.
• Photocopy of Khatiyan
• Residential Certificate
• Report of concerned Patwari or Tehsildar relating to the caste of the applicant.
• Genealogy (Mandatory for S.C, S.T and BC1, BC2)
• Other caste-related documents
• Land-related certificate in which description of caste has been mentioned (Mandatory for O.B.C)
• Income Certificate (Mandatory for O.B.C)
• Caste Certificate(BC1/BC2) (Mandatory for O.B.C)
• Applicant Photograph
• Recommendation letter from elected member(ward/mukhiya/pradhan/jila parisad to verify the caste

Tatkal Service: For Tatkal Service Applicant has to upload the proof showing the reason for Tatkal as the enclosure. It must be recommended by Local Circle Officer / Block Development Officer /Executive Magistrate/Sub Divisional Magistrate/Additional Collector/Deputy Commissioner for the eligibility of Tatkal.

Concerned Authority

Sub -Divisional Magistrate/Circile Officer or Tehsildar or concerned authority in the Revenue Department office is responsible for the issuance caste certificate in Jharkhand.

Validity

The validity of the caste certificate issued in the state of Jharkhand extends for three years.

Online fee:

Self-registered citizens and applicants who apply through Online can avail the service free of cost.

Pragya Kendra (CSC) Centres online service at the cost of Rs.30.

Processing Time

The concerned authority will issue caste certificate to applicant within 15 days from the submission of application.

The person applying for the caste certificate can apply online.

Offline Application Process

Step 1: Login the Jarsewa portal with registrate user id & password.

Step 2: Find the Apply for services on home screen in the side bar menu.

Step 3: Select the applicable form (OBC, SC, ST)

Step 4: Fill the form all mandatory fields.

Step 5: Accept the terms & conditions and enter the captcha code and click the submit.

Step 6:  Uplaod all documents.

Step 7: Click on final submit.

Step 8: After submiting the application print the acknowledgement or download the acknowledge receipt.

Step 9: This is final step from your side, Your application under verification of verification is completed then issue your caste certificate in 30 days.

Note: Providing wrong information will lead to the rejection/pending of the application.
