Ducati has showcased the Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini Centauro Edition, a limited-edition finger-painted example that comes with a matching Lamborghini Huracan EVO.
Ducati has revealed the prices for the India-spec Streetfighter V4 SP2 & V4 Lamborghini and they’re worth a second, or even third, glance!
The Streetfighter V4 is powered by a 1103cc liquid-cooled 90-degree V4 engine producing 208PS and 123Nm. Power output can be increased to 220PS with the help of an Akrapovic exhaust system. It weighs just 180kg (dry) and is suspended on an upside-down fork and monoshock.
Ducati Streetfighter V4 Price in India:
The standard version is priced at Rs 22,15,000 while the ‘S’ variant’s prices start from Rs 25,49,000. The SP2, meanwhile, costs Rs 35,33,000 and the top-of-the-line V4 Lamborghini costs Rs 72,00,000 (all prices ex-showroom India).
Ducati Streetfighter V4 Features:
The Ducati Streetfighter V4 comes with an all-LED lighting system and a 5-inch TFT instrument cluster with optional smartphone connectivity called the Ducati Multimedia System (DMS). The engine is reined in by a bevvy of electronic aids such as Race, Sport and Street riding modes, three levels of cornering ABS, an eight-level cornering traction control system, a two-level Ducati Slide Control, wheelie control system, engine brake control, and a three-level launch control system. To keep the rubber side down at high speeds, the motorcycle also features ‘biplane’ aerodynamic winglets that can generate a downforce of 28kg at 270kmph.
Ducati Streetfighter V4 Engine:
Ducati has equipped the Streetfighter V4 with a 1103cc liquid-cooled V4 engine, churning out a massive 208PS at 12,750rpm and 123Nm at 9,500rpm. The engine is linked to a hydraulically actuated 6-speed transmission with a slipper clutch. Ducati offers a bidirectional quickshifter as standard. The peak power can be further increased to 223PS and torque to 130Nm using an optional Ducati performance exhaust (track only) that is lighter than the stock unit by 6kg.
Ducati Streetfighter V4 Suspension & Brakes:
The Ducati Streetfighter V4 is built on an aluminum alloy front frame with the engine as the stressed member, linked to a trellis subframe and a single-sided cast aluminum swingarm. The bike is suspended on a fully adjustable 43mm Showa Big Piston Front fork with a Sachs steering damper. The Streetfighter V4 S variant comes with a much more sophisticated 43mm Ohlin’s NIX 30 front and Ohlin’s TTX36 rear unit, and an Ohlin’s steering damper, all electronically actuated.
For braking, it employs dual 330mm front discs with top-of-the-line Brembo Style a radial calipers and a 245mm rear disc with a two-piston caliper. While the standard variant gets cast aluminum wheels, the S variant rolls on lighter Marchesani forged aluminum units. With all these features, the S variant tips the scale at 199kg kerb whereas the regular model weighs 201kg kerb. The V4 SP, on the other hand, tips the scales at 196.5kg.
