‘Dobaaraa’ inspired by the Spanish film ‘Mirage’
Anurag Kashyap’s new film ‘Dobaaraa’, inspired by the Spanish film ‘Mirage’, has the same pace as Escape Velocity. From the beginning to the end, through the news being broadcast on radio and television, it keeps telling that whenever the storm is visible on the screen, whenever the weather is formed, some such things have been happening, the reason for which even science has not been able to understand. With these assumptions the story of the film begins.
The story is of two different eras, which are connected by an old television. In the first part of the story, divided into two periods, a murder takes place and his eyewitness child dies in a road accident. In the second part of the story, which is happening in today’s time, she sees the same teenager on an old television kept in the house of a woman working as a nurse in a hospital and she stops him from going out. That is, according to this story, now the child does not die. So now begins the trigonometry of mathematics that if the child does not die, then what will change in that story? And, what if this woman, who became a nurse in her story, will be seen with some other identity in that child’s story?

Anurag Kashyap enjoys testing the intelligence of his audience.
Anurag Kashyap enjoys testing the intelligence of his audience. The film ‘Dobaara’ also creates an illusion like a mirage, do Miraj understand it. If you do not understand the story, you can read the previous paragraph again and watch it, but if you do not understand the film for the first time, will you try to watch it again?
This is the question of seven and a half crores like ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ after watching this film. When Anurag did not come as promised at the special screening of the film, it was surprising that no one made an issue of his absence after the film was over. Nor did anyone talk when he was not there. Everyone was lost in the film and kept thinking that what they understood, the critic sitting on the adjacent chair must have understood something similar.
Anurag clarified that his film ‘Miraj’ is not a remake.
Anurag Kashyap director has been amazing. Stories also capture such that the audience may not have heard but seen before. But only on the release of the trailer of the film ‘Dobaara’, smart people caught the talk of it being a remake of ‘Miraj’. Anurag clarified that his film ‘Miraj’ is not a remake. When the film ‘Dobaara’ starts, Anurag tells that what is its relation with ‘Miraj’? Honesty, which is missing from Hindi cinema, is weakening it like a termite day by day.
And, during the Corona transition period, people have seen so much that even trying to test their intellect is going to be overshadowed by the film makers. The Hindi adaptation of Uradha Ki Kahani weakens Anurag’s status as a director and more than that it undermines Taapsee Pannu’s brand value as she doesn’t seem to do anything in the entire film. It’s acting!
Watch the Movie or Ignore
In the film ‘Dobaara’, many familiar and some new faces are seen. Pavail Gulati is looking for Anurag Kashyap only, he also does good work. Rahul Bhat’s character continues to deceive the wife in both the stories and just before the end of the film, the heroine also decides the character of her character. Shaurya Duggal has played the character of the child who weaves the noose of both the stories in a better way. Sylvester Fonseca’s cinematography in the film is what retains the charm of the film, although the editing of the film could have been better and the film is also weak in terms of song and music.
This film has been made only for the strong fans of Anurag Kashyap, the rest of the common people can hardly understand this film in the first time and if you do not have the courage to watch the film again, then stay away from ‘Dobaaraa’.
