The Bajaj Dominar 400 is a sports touring bike and the flagship model of the manufacturer, designed to offer solid performance on the highways. Now Bajaj is planning on updating the Dominar range.

Bajaj Dominar 400 Price

The Bajaj Dominar 400 is available in a single standard variant priced at Rs 2,29,781 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The bike comes in two colour choices: Aurora Green and Charcoal Black.

Bajaj Dominar 400 Engine

The Bajaj Dominar 400 has a 373.3cc, BS6.2-compliant single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine producing 40PS at 8800rpm and 35Nm at 6500rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox with an assist and slipper clutch.

Bajaj Dominar 400 Suspension & Brakes

The Bajaj Dominar 400 is built on a beam-type perimeter frame and gets an inverted fork and a preload-adjustable monoshock. The braking system consists of a 320mm disc at the front and a 230mm disc at the rear. The bike also gets  dual-channel ABS. The Dominar 400 gets a 110/70-17 sized radial tyre at the front and a 150/60-17 radial tyre at the rear.

The ground clearance of 157mm is decent for a sporty bike. It also has a fuel tank capacity of 13 litres.

Being the brand’s flagship model, the Bajaj Dominar 400 has a lot of modern tech. The bike comes with two digital screens; one is the regular instrument panel that shows speed, rpm, average mileage, fuel level and side indicator alert, while the other, mounted on the fuel tank, provides essential details like an odometer, gear position, trip meter and a clock. 

Further, the bike gets a USB charger placed next to the handlebar and a phone mounting point located just above the instrument cluster.

The Bajaj Dominar 400 competes against the Triumph Speed 400, Royal Enfield Meteor 350 and Honda CB350RS. One can also consider TVS Apache RTR 310 for a less powerful and tech-packed option.
