Another Monkeypox case find in India : Suspected patient has returned after traveling abroad. The patient’s sample has been sent to the National Institute of Virology, Pune. According to the news agency, a person who came in contact with the first patient infected with Monkeypox from Delhi has complained of body pain. However, he is still under observation. Let us tell you that a total of four cases of Monkeypox have been reported in the country.

So far four cases of Monkeypox have been found in India. Of these, three have been found in Kerala and one in Delhi. The first Monkeypox patient found in Delhi is admitted to Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Hospital and is recovering. It is being told that it will take at least one more week for his skin rashes and wounds to heal. On the other hand, after the case of Monkeypox, the Union Health Ministry has issued an alert to all the states.

What is the preparation in which state in country ?

Monkeypox infected person coming to Delhi from abroad who have symptoms of Monkeypox infection will be sent to Loknayak Jai Prakash Narayan (LNJP) Hospital from Indira Gandhi International Airport. Wards have been made here for such patients.

Jharkhand : Instructions to identify suspects in OPD The Health Department has issued advisory to all the civil surgeons of the state including Ranchi and directed them to make isolation wards in their respective hospitals regarding Monkeypox.

It has been said in the advisory that the suspects should be identified with Monkeypox through active surveillance in the OPD clinics of medical colleges and district hospitals. At the same time, people who have returned after traveling from abroad have been appealed that if symptoms of Monkeypox are seen within 21 days, then immediately go to the hospital and get tested.

Uttarakhand government has issued advisory regarding dengue and Monkeypox. In this, it has been advised to keep an eye on such people who are reaching Uttarakhand from Kerala or affected countries.

Uttar Pradesh : The UP government has also become alert. On behalf of the state government, it has been said that there is a need to be careful when there are cases of Monkeypox in neighboring states. The state government has reserved 10 beds each in Covid dedicated hospitals in view of Monkeypox. Apart from this, the government has said that community health officers, front line workers (ANM and ASHA) will be trained for surveillance.

On the other hand, an alert has also been issued in Madhya Pradesh and Bihar. However, not a single case of Monkey pox has been found in these states yet.
