Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds is a 2017 South Korean fantasy action movie. The movie was directed by Kim Yong-hwa and based on the webtoon series by Joo Ho-min. Along with the Gods, which was inspired by the Korean Joseon dynasty Buddhist paintings. In the early Buddhist texts of the Ten Kings of Hell.[8][9] It stars Ha Jung-woo, Cha Tae-Hyun, Ju Ji-hoon and Kim Hyang-Gi.

About Movie Release :

The film was shot as one but presented in two parts. The first part, Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds, was released on 20 December 2017.In June 2018, it was announced that another two sequels are scheduled to be filmed in 2019. The sequel, titled Along with the Gods: The Last 49 Days, was released on 1 August 2018.As of May 2019, Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds is the third highest-grossing film in South Korean cinema history.

Story of this movie :

Three individuals lead Ja-Hong, a fireman, into the afterlife where he undergoes a trial to determine whether or not he can receive the privilege of reincarnation. Having died unexpectedly, firefighter Ja-Hong is taken to the afterlife by 3 afterlife guardians. Only when he passes 7 trials over 49 days and proves he was innocent in human life, he’s able to reincarnate, and his 3 afterlife guardians are by his side.

Inner Story of this movie :

The inner story and the scenery of the protagonist who is transformed through seven trials. When a moment supports the ordinary character, at a certain moment, audiences put themselves on the life of each person. As a result, this vast fantasy that transcends the boundaries of life and death between the world and hell, takes a leap into the tectonics of human life and death, the meaning of life and death, and the value of a given life.
